Swiss-made timepieces are legendary. They are the epitome of precision timing and the superlative of craftsmanship and design. And, behind every great Swiss-made timepiece are the legendary crafts-men who created them. We’d like to tell you about one of them.
At the start of the 20th century, there was a watchmaker and father of 15 children named Louis Boegli. In 1904, he opened an alarm clock factory. His business grew rapidly, so he expanded by building a workshop in Moutier, Switzerland along a street named “Bellevue”. He liked the street name (“beautiful view” in French), so he adopted the name for his watch factory. Over 100 years later his great grandson, François Boegli, carries on the legacy of watchmaking under the name Bellevue as a tribute to his great grandfather. In our ongoing commitment to bring our customers the very best, we’re happy to present a timepiece from this legendary watchmaker. From precision Swiss Ronda movement to a stunning aesthetic of two-tone stainless steel construction and a bezel sparkling with European crystals, this timepiece has more than earned its esteemed “Swiss Made” title.
